Qatar

Deciding to travel alone can feel intimidating, but Solo travel is a life changing experience which makes you discover what kind of person you are. You get to know more about your own personality and what you enjoy. You learn how to get out of your comfort zone, do things on your own and sometimes you even get to surprise yourself.

Travel is, without a doubt, the fastest way you can grow as a human being and turn your life into an inspired one.

When you’re by yourself for a majority of the day and night you learn to be comfortable in your own skin, in your own mind.

I’ve put together a list of my favorite destinations for solo travellers to help make it easier for you!

QATAR

Qatar is known to the world for its ultramodern and futuristic architecture with its roots from ancient Islamic design and is a safe destination for Solo Travellers.  Doha is a great place for solo travelers whether its for a few days or even if your're transiting.

While Qatar is a small country with most sights easily accessible no more than an hour or two from Doha, it may be advisable to stick close to the capital if your time is limited.

Spend your time visiting the Museum of Islamic Art, Souq Waqif and Katara Cultural Village as part of a one day itinerary.

VIETNAM

Unforgettable experiences are everywhere in Vietnam for SoloTravellers. There is the sublime: gazing over surreal seascape of limestone islands from the deck of a traditional junk in Halong Bay.

Forty years after the carnage and destruction of an epoch-defining conflict, Vietnam is a Self Confident and a fast developing nation and its progress is all-evident in the country's booming metropolises.

Lisbon, Portugal

Art takes many shapes in this charming city, that itself, seems to be the muse of artists. This place promises incredible adventures with equal parts of beauty and culture.

While traveling alone one can opt for the walking tours of the city unearthing new histories of the city only to realize that it has a calm and relaxed environment without a hint of pushiness.
